Tuomas Timonen is Finnish poet, play writer and director. He has degrees in house building and dramaturgy. Timonen has published two poetry books and written several plays such as Minun poikani tarina (My sons story), Elämänmäki (Life’s hill) and Suklaa, suklaa (Chocolate, chocolate).
In 2007 Timonen won the award called Tanssiva karhu (Dancing bear) which acknowledges the high level of domestic poetry.
