Janne Särkelä is an intuitive sound traveller who explores the deep waters of the reality. Janne has realized sound installations from recycled materials and researched the meditative shades of music for 10 years as a performing artist and a sound designer. His latest endeavour is to free himself from rigid preset systems and paradigms to create fluid spectral music applications for music production and sound design. This study has also led him to experiment with processing sound as visual matrixes thus diluting the borders between the different domains.
Janne follows the musical and artistic path under moniker sarana, and the intuitive live performances currently present practically infinitely microtonal ambient music created from mixing various live and recorded sound and visual sources.
