For over 30 years, I have been involved in various audiovisual productions, brainstorming and designing, and in the actual implementation: filming, recording, directing, editing and producing.
From 1991 to 2000, I also worked as the director of the video department of the Oulu School of Arts and Crafts. Since 2002, I have worked as a senior lecturer at Oulu University of Applied Sciences, responsible for leading audiovisual courses until last year.
I have also been involved in founding many audio-visual associations here in Northern Ostrobothnia: Oulu Music Video Festival ry, Iik!! Horror film festivals in Ii, Northern Audiovisual Producers Pava ry, Sokkeli ry, Northern Ostrobothnia Arts and Culture Support POTKU ry.
Today, I am the CEO of QuetzalCoatl Production Oy (www.qcp.fi), which we founded in 1993. I received my education in the audiovisual field at the University of Bergen in 1989-1990 Fjernsyns produksjons grundfag, in the Master’s Programme in Media Production at the University of Oulu, in 2004-2007 and in the Master’s Programme in Applied Sound Expression at the University of Lapland in 2015-2017.
